New Sony A200 and Abby pic

My Sony Alpha 200 arrived today with a 4GB CF card.

It was a dull day so I didn't go out to test it out but I stopped in and took a pic or two of Abby to see how the cameras aperture affected the depth of field.

Here she is, focusing on her little sleepy face I managed to get her little feet out of focus.

New Digital SLR

I bought myself my first DSLR today.

After a lot of research I opted for an entry level Sony A200 with a 4GB Compact flash card

My New Sony DSLR Camers here

Can't wait for it to arrive, I'll be setting up a flickr account and uploading some photos when it arrives.

New Digital Camera

After setting up and reading about DSLRs i've kinda decided i'd like to
buy a dslr and take up photography as a hobby.

I did a little photography work at college years ago and quite enjoyed it.

Obviously everything is digital now and the price of decent slrs has
came down significantly.

I think i'll treat myself to a Sony A200, which will last me a lifetime
and come in handy for taking pictures of Abby as she grows up.

Canon EOS 50d Updated

I've updated the canon website with a page aimed at Canons entry level DSLR.

There's the EOS 400D and the EOS 450D but similar cameras in this range
include Nikons D40 for less than £300 and also models from Sony amd
Olympus too.
